yes i could just google these questions but i find it much more fun and engageing to discuss them. In saying that if you think the questions are something i should just know or am a noob for not knowing let me know!! but i think we all get them weird questions pop into our head that arn't common knowledge.
Question for now:
If you were to get very strong metal sheets weld them together to make a box then fill it with water to the absolute top then weld a lid on in a way that there are no leaks and no air left in 100% filled then place it in a freezer large enough and cold enough to freeze the contents, in the freezing process we all know water expands quite alot to as many would know from chucking a beer in the freezer on them days you just cant wait and then forgetting bout it !!
So knowing that can the expanding process be halted by a strong enough structure ?
Will the water just power through and crack on the box ?
if so what would it take to contain and halt the expanding process ?
Or am i way off and there is a problem even testing this?
This is completely hypothetical. The mind wanders well mine does anyway !!
